FEEDBACK FROM THE CUSTOMER
The process was very quick from start to finish. The team from Fawns communicated well with school so we knew the timelines and were kept informed throughout the process. When the work commenced the installers were very easy to work with, they were polite and worked around the needs of the school. They engaged well with the children when their natural curiosity led them to asking questions about how they were building the new play area. Any final snags were quickly resolved and the whole process was very smooth. Would highly recommend.

BACKGROUND
Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Kirkbampton, Kirkbampton CE Primary School offers a nurturing environment where young minds flourish. The schools core values focus on instilling a sense of democracy, the rule of law, and fostering mutual respect. They embrace the beauty of diversity by teaching tolerance for various faiths and beliefs.
PROJECT BRIEF
The school’s existing equipment had reached its end of life and was no longer serving a purpose to the children of the school.
The main aim was to revamp the adventure area. The PE lead and headteacher ideally wanted a climbing structure to cater for the older children as well as a toddler rocker aiming for the younger children.
Importantly, the new play area needed to cater to all 105 children of the school.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
The school had secured Sports Premium funding, meaning they had the funds in place to create their dream playground.
As the school wanted to get a range of ideas, they had had other companies to come out and quote for the new adventure play area.
Fawns’ local consultant met with the PE lead and Headteacher; during their meeting the consultant discussed the various climbing structure options that would work in the area. After discussions, a design was created and presented to the headteacher as well as the school council.
After a thorough evaluation of the designs, Fawns emerged as the top choice. Our ability to align perfectly with the design brief, while adhering to the budget, set us apart from the other companies. All without compromising on the quality of equipment and service.
