FEEDBACK FROM THE CUSTOMER
“We are so pleased we chose to work with Fawns to develop our outdoor space. We had a limited space and budget and they worked tirelessly to ensure we had options. Their communication and installation have been wonderful. The installation was completed well within the window planned and came in on budget. Children and staff were so excited to see our new, exciting climbing area. It has been finished to a high standard and most importantly outcomes for our young children have been impacted by this investment in climbing equipment. Thank you Fawns.”

BACKGROUND
Located in the vibrant borough of Tower Hamlets in the bustling capital city of London, Children’s House Nursery School prides itself in educational excellence.
At the heart of their mission are their solid visions and values, driving them to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all their children. Through a blend of creativity, challenge, and innovation, they uphold high standards of education and care, ensuring that every child flourishes and reaches their full potential.
PROJECT BRIEF
As part of the Nursery’s development plan, they wanted to enhance the provision for physical development, providing opportunities to climb, balance, jump from height, take measured risks, collaborate, develop co-ordination which in turn helps build resilience, perseverance and improves overall well-being.
The school also aimed to enhance imaginative play to improve language and promote sharing & turn taking as well as meeting the EYFS 7 areas of learning such as personal, social & emotional development, communication & language and physical development.
THE DESIGN PROCESS
The nursery had been fundraising for several years, and thanks to the support of the parents and families of the children, they were finally able to bring their vision for the new play area to life.
The local consultant, in collaboration with the Executive Headteacher, discussed plans and provided innovative ideas and options for the outdoor play space during a site visit.
After reaching a final agreement on the plan, our team created a design that was showcased to the school and, with some minor adjustments Fawns were chosen for the final design as we understood the specific requirements for the school, ensuring creativity and adaptability for the children.
