Log Wall Climber

The Log Wall Climber enables children to climb over the top and make their way back down the other side. This helps develops their gross motor skills, lower body strength, gripping and grasping, as well as co-ordination. And from the top of the it unit, it helps children gain a new perspective of the whole outdoor space from a height. This develops their ‘positional language’ encouraging vocabulary such as over, under, beside, or beneath.

Climbing over the wall helps children build confidence, take risks and learn what their body can do. It also encourages problem-solving and predicting what might happen next.
