After you register your interest with us for your project, your designated Outdoor Playground Consultant will come to your site for a free design visit. Here, you'll talk all about your needs and wants for your new playground. Your consultant will take some site specifications and images to bring to the playground design workshop.
Playground design
The next step is for our in-house design team to turn your ideas into a 3D design. The concept will be life-like and allows you to visualise the finished project your children will love.
Your playground consultant will give you:

- Tailored quotations
These concept designs and plans are excellent to share with your school PTA, beneficiaries, school council and other interested parties. If your school is planning to fundraise to fund your playground project, these designs are great for your pitch to companies to dig deep and support.
The UK playground manufacturing begins!
Once your outdoor playground design is exactly how you’d like it, you’ll place your order with our procurement team (a reminder, payment is delayed until the project is completed, so no up-front fees). The green light will be given to our UK-based manufacturing workshop to make your outdoor playground equipment made to measure. Your bespoke playground pieces are individually made by our highly skilled team to ensure accuracy and compliance- no cutting corners here!
Fawns wooden play equipment is designed and made in the UK, adhering to the highest possible safety and quality standards. We take safety and durability seriously, it’s why we’re a proud member of the API community.
Playground installation
You’ll be given your own Contracts Manager throughout your order and installation process – we’re one of the only outdoor playground equipment suppliers that offers this service. A smooth process and excellent customer service are areas we pride ourselves on, and are celebrated via customer testimonials.
Your Contracts Manager will complete a final site visit before installation begins, this is to ensure all the ‘i’s are dotted and your project is good to go.
Our expert (and friendly) installation team will arrive on site – you’ll be given accurate and timely updates along the way, of course. The team will install your new play space with minimal disruption to school life.
Installations happen throughout the year, including during term time. School holidays can be a busy time for play equipment installations. it’s recommended you book your playground project slot early to secure your space.
Active playtime!
As you can see in some of our case studies, some schools like to invite any companies who have contributed to the playground fundraising to officially open their playground. After your (optional) opening ceremony, your children can enjoy active play and immediately increasing activity levels.
We’ll send you a short feedback form and offer you the chance for some photos to be taken of your outdoor play equipment being enjoyed – you can share these on your website.

Our experienced installers follow RoSPA and API (Association of Play Industries) guidelines, ensuring your playground site meets legal and practical safety requirements.
